This one's got songs left over from the 'Another Fine Day' sessions, but they are seriously NOT of leftover quality, so their release is wonderful. If you liked AFD, you'll find the link clear, with the covers of BOWIE's 'Starman' and DINOSAUR JR.'s 'Tarpit' performed on their short tour. Longtime Jayhawks fans may be a bit put off by the inclusion of sonics that likely come from producers Paco Loco and the esteemed Ed Ackerson. The song 'Scotch On Ice' with its crazy lyrics hearkens back to the original Golden Smog absurd humor. Perhaps the only misstep is the instrumental 'Magician', which is just okay. It is followed by the best track on the album: "Without A Struggle", which is worthy of any Jayhawks record.
This is a great band with a real blend of rock, folk, country and a smidgen of blues.πππππβοΈπΆππ¨π¦ This band should be in everyoneβs collection to really grasp and appreciate top quality and β Professionalism β in oneβs life. #Justsayin #Justkeepingitreal

I don't think Jeff Tweedy plays on it, but it's still pretty damn good. Love Golden Smog!
