Unfortunately these were a very poor quality after market set of parts, especially the metal dust seal retainer. Practically impossible to fit without distorting them despite my best efforts and scrupulously preparing the brake caliper housing for them to be located in. Sorry, but these parts are not of the standard expected.

These are not poor quality. It is the lack of skills of the fitter which is causing problem.I have personally fitted over 50 of these seal kits into caliper. Referring to the workshop manual you chose not to adhere to the advice given and foolishly attempted to push the rings into housing in a vice use of the special tool stops the metal ring from bending during fitting.Please desist from derogatory comments when the cause is your own lack of skills and non usage of required special tools.
